New Site Under Construction

Welcome everybody to the new Velocitydiscs.com. Feel free to check in occasionally as i continue to develop this site. The store and shopping cart are functioning but the content will continue to grow.

Velocity’s first post

As the title implies this will be my first blog for Velocity Discs. I want to start writing some of my thoughts and stories as I begin my training to be the next 1000 rated player in Wisconsin.

Now a little bit about myself
My name is Nick, and i’m one of the owners of velocity. In all reality it is safe to say that i don’t add anything to this company as far as disc golf skill. I actually didn’t even start playing disc golf until march of this year. I do however have the fortune of having the cubicle right next to Chris Heeren (the other half of Velocity), and the ability to figure out how to do just about anything. While i don’t think that my disc golf rating is going to crack 900 anytime soon, I am the one responsible for most of the site creation, graphic work, and disc dyeing performed by Velocity.

What you can expect
I intend to start writing down my thoughts and opinions as I travel around the state playing tournaments with Chris and rest of Team Velocity. My first order of business is to go back through the tournaments that i have played recently and review the course, the competition, the tournament director, the players pack, the weather, or anything that i really liked or disliked about the event.

Stay tuned and let me know what you think.
